Golf presented itself at COP 26

Driving for Net Zero – Golf and Climate Action was the name of the event hosted by the GEO Foundation for Sustainable Golf on November 11 as part of COP 26 . The event took place on site in Scotland’s Climate Ambition Zone in Glasgow, but virtual participation was also possible if interested. The event, which GEO organized with the support of the Scottish government, dealt with the question of what role golf plays in climate change and what options there are for achieving CO2 neutrality.

The event was hosted by Sky Sports presenter David Garrido. The Proette Suzann Pettersen (picture), representatives of the R&A, the United Nations Environment Program and the various professional tours were involved.
