“Golf as a sport looks after the environment”
Meadow orchards, e-charging stations, biotope networking but also more occupational safety – the campaigns were diverse: Ten German golf clubs were virtually awarded on Friday as part of the DGV online hearing for their commitment to the program Golf and Nature. All ten received the gold certificate in 2019 and 2020 as part of the Golf & Natur quality management program .
“The result is ten strong commitments to green golf,” said Alexander Klose, Director of Legal & Services at the German Golf Association, in recognition of the achievements of the ten clubs. These were the facilities Budersand, G&LC Bad Salzuflen, GC Würzburg, Allgäuer G&LC, Golf Course Iffeldorf, Wiesbaden GC, GC Rheinhessen Hofgut Wißberg St. Johann, GC Hannover, HC Hanau-Wilhelmsbad and Düsseldorfer GC .
