Bernhard Langer becomes patron of the Southern German Bee Week

Strong momentum for the Southern German Bee Week, which the Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg Golf Associations are organizing together for the first time: Bernhard Langer supports the campaign as patron and also spoke up on this topic in a greeting. “Let’s play golf together and also for the benefit of our bees” – with these words the two-time Masters winner calls on the golfers to support the bee projects in the clubs.

The Southern German Bee Week takes place under the motto “Just Bee There”. While the time frame is set for the week of May 17th to 23rd, the golf courses have a free hand in designing the project. Individual tournaments, game days, women’s afternoons or youth rounds can be carried out as you wish under the motto “Just bee there”. Clubs can register until April 30th. On the one hand, this is about collecting donations for the club’s own bee and species protection projects, but on the other hand, attention should be drawn to the topic both within the club and in the general public.
