Congress dedicated to sport and sustainability
How sustainable are sporting events? There are two days of information on the topic of sport and sustainability at the Sport Positive Summit , which originally took place on 17th and March 18th and was supposed to take place at Wembley Stadium. Now it will be held virtually on 1st and 2nd October.
“Reframing the sport & climate movement in the light of 2020 events”, “Why sport cannot go back to business as usual”, “Diversity & Inclusion” are on the program as well as “Nature & Biodiversity”, “Commercial Partnerships” or “Health, Wellbeing and Sustainability”.
The numerous speakers include Yath Ganagkumaran, Director of Strategy at Formula 1, Todd Jacobson, responsible for social responsibility at the NBA, and Hattie Park, Sustainability Manager at Wimbledon.
The golf sector is represented on the subject of “Data Measurement and Reporting” by Jonathan Smith, Executive Director of the Golf Environment Organization .
