With the new Back to Nature line, the British label Fore! The Planet will launch its first sustainable golf clothing collection on Masters Sunday.
The collection is made exclusively from 100% circular organic cotton and is produced on the Isle of Wight according to the “print on demand” principle – an approach that not only saves resources but also avoids overproduction. The garments are in natural shades of green and earthy colors, inspired by trees, landscapes and the love of nature.
“Our designs should not only look good on the golf course, but also make a statement – for conscious consumption and for protecting the environment,” says the company. Each item of clothing is provided with a QR code that can be used to simply send back used items. There they are recycled, reused or transferred to new cycles.
At launch, the collection includes T-shirts (25-29 pounds), sweaters (45 pounds), hoodies (55 pounds) and a backpack (45 pounds). For the time being, the line is aimed exclusively at men – however, the size chart also includes reference sizes for women. In the future, further collections are planned every six months, probably including women’s models.
