Climate fluctuations, restrictions on fertilizers and pesticides, digitalization and resource conservation: Greenkeepers work at the interface of many factors that require sustainable golf.
An 18-hole golf course covers an area of around 60 to 90 hectares. The greenkeeping team at a golf course is responsible for the entire area of the course. The greens deserve the most attention, with an average size of around 600 m² for championship courses.
