Habitat golf course – We promote biodiversity

The aim of the pilot project for golf courses in Baden-Württemberg, run by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment , the Baden-Württemberg Golf Association and the German Golf Association , is to expand the existing areas of biodiversity on golf courses in Baden-Württemberg both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Through the cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment, the golf courses and the implemented measures are part of the nature conservation strategy of the state of Baden-Württemberg for the first time and thus receive a new perception of the sport of golf in politics and society.

The conditions for participation in the pilot project, which is initially set to run for two years, are designed in such a way that as many clubs as possible can take part and benefit.
