With the Club Booster V2Pro, Alphard Golf is now launching the second generation of its electric drive module on the European market. The system is aimed at golfers who want to convert their existing manual push trolley into a remote-controlled electric trolley – without having to buy a complete new model.
The Club Booster V2Pro is currently the only system available that has been specifically developed for retrofitting. According to the manufacturer, installation can be completed within 15 minutes. The rear wheels of the existing trolley are replaced by the drive module, which is equipped with two electric motors. Thanks to the flexible mounting system, the Club Booster is compatible with most common trolley brands, including models from BigMax, Clicgear, BagBoy, Motocaddy, PowaKaddy and SunMountain.

For many golfers, this means that the existing trolley does not have to be replaced, but can be upgraded. For example, a Clicgear 3.5, a BigMax IQ+ or a SunMountain Micro Cart can be upgraded with the Club Booster V2Pro – a measure that saves both resources and costs.
Technical equipment
The device is equipped with a 6-axis gyroscope, which ensures stable track guidance and automatic adjustment of the driving style in real time. On sloping terrain, an intelligent downhill speed control regulates the speed, while an automatic parking brake prevents the trolley from rolling away unintentionally. Anti-tip wheels, a freewheel mode and a remote control including app backup are also part of the equipment.
The V2Pro battery is designed for up to 500 charging cycles and – depending on space conditions – enables ranges of up to 36 holes per charge. The charging time is around 3 to 4 hours. The battery is removable and can be charged at any standard socket. The battery is guaranteed for one year and the device for a total of two years.
The Club Booster V2Pro is produced in China and delivered from there. The retail price is around 899 euros, in the introductory offer for May the system is available for 799 euros.
Peter Luxenburg, Sales Director of Alphard Golf Europe & UK, emphasizes the sustainable idea behind the concept:
“Why replace a functioning and high-quality push trolley when you can simply electrify it? With the Club Booster V2Pro, we want to offer a smart, resource-saving solution that combines convenience and environmental awareness.”
User experiences and questions are also shared in the Facebook group “Club Booster V2Pro – Users & Tips (DE)”, where a growing community is exchanging information about the retrofit system.
