In June 2020, the <strong>Alt\u00f6tting district group of BUND Naturschutz<\/strong> held a GEO day in a golf club for the first time in Germany. A new washing area has just been decided upon and is intended to optimize the working conditions of the greenkeeping team.<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/erischer-golfverband.de\/home\"><strong>Arno Malte Uhlig, President of the Bavarian Golf Association<\/strong><\/a>, the facility is perfect proof that the Golf &amp; Nature program still has great potential as a \u201cpractical guide\u201d for golf facilities. The improvement of <a href=\"https:\/\/golfsustainable.com\/en\/golf-before-level-2-in-species-protection\/\">biodiversity<\/a> is combined here with the optimization of playing conditions and internal processes, he noted. Golf courses that successfully participate in the program, like the <a href=\"http:\/\/gc-altoetting-burghausen.de\/\">GC Alt\u00f6tting-Burghausen<\/a>, &#8220;prove that golfers have to treat their
