November 2025<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-k8ycpuk2-a8ee88271fa5dde08cdc6a3936c9a217 '  ><div class='avia_textblock' ><p>The <strong>St. Andrews Links Trust<\/strong> has presented a strong financial result for 2024: With income of \u00a348.5 million and a surplus of \u00a310.8 million, the &#8220;Home of Golf&#8221; remains on a stable economic course. More than 280,000 rounds played across the Trust&#8217;s seven courses illustrate the continued high demand for golf in St Andrews.<\/p>\n<p>As a <strong>non-profit foundation<\/strong>, the funds generated flow entirely into the maintenance, further development and future-proofing of the facilities. The focus here is on sustainability and resource conservation. One of the central infrastructure projects is the modernization of the irrigation systems. Over the next few years, the Trust is investing 10.5 million pounds in a comprehensive renovation, starting on the Old Course. A 200-metre stretch of coastline was rebuilt there &#8211; part of the largest and longest dune restoration project in Scotland. The measure not only protects the fairways, but also the sensitive coastal ecosystem and makes an important contribution to biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These results give us the opportunity to
